Investor in Customers (IIC) is an independent assessment and accreditation organisation that helps businesses enhance their customer experience through insights, e-learning, and recognition.

The IIC Insight360 assessment involves independent evaluations through customer and employee surveys, and an analysis of your online presence (website, review sites, social media). Based on the feedback, businesses receive a Gold, Silver, or Bronze award, along with detailed recommendations for improvement.

Any organisation that wants to improve its customer experience can apply for an Investor in Customers (IIC) and/or A Company That Cares award. We work with businesses of all sizes and industries. For all companies we offer A Company That Cares Award. For larger companies, we offer the Insight360 assessment, CX Audits, and Managed Programmes, all of which can lead to a Gold, Silver, or Bronze award (subject to meeting the relevant criteria).

For the Insight360 award and a CX Audit the timeline varies, but typically, the full process takes between 6-12 weeks.

The Investor in Customers (IIC) Ambassador Award is a CPD-accredited e-learning program that trains employees to become customer champions, fostering a customer-centric culture and improving service excellence.

The A Company That Cares Award recognizes organisations that consistently show care for their customers and staff. Based on a short self-assessment and external perception review, the award highlights values-led businesses that prioritise people in both culture and action.

Following an assessment, we provide tailored recommendations to help improve customer interactions, employee engagement, and service strategies. Implementing these suggestions can enhance your overall IIC score. We also work with you during the 12-month interim between assessments, offering monthly or quarterly meetings, or whatever suits you best. We are on hand when needed.

We recommend an annual or biennial assessment to ensure continuous improvement and maintain your award.
