It's great to see long standing clients improve their business results through focusing on customers.
Neil Craig
Managing Director
In the early days, it was great to be involved in everything from finding clients to running projects to feeding back the results. And I believe, making a difference to our clients. These days, I’m spending more time working on the business as I have some fantastically talented colleagues doing the day to day stuff. But my enthusiasm for IIC is as great as ever and if I get the chance, I still answer the phone because I love that contact with clients, current and future. I have 3 grown up children and my wife and I are thoroughly enjoying our new found peace and quiet at home.

Our clients have seen genuine improvements to their business and their profits.
Charlie Williams
Director - Assessment and Consulting
Since the early days of IIC, when we were described as “two blokes and a laptop”, I have been responsible for business development. My role encompasses new business sales as well as managing some of our existing client relationships and developing new products and services that we can provide to help our clients to build better businesses. Outside of work I spend time with my wife and three sons. This mostly involves dreaming up new ways to avoid working on our allotment, watching cricket and rugby and responding to phone calls that usually start with “Dad, I’ve got a problem” and end with me sending money, oh the joys of internet banking!

My experience has lead me to recognise that companies who outperform their rivals are the ones with the best customer service and a service ethos running throughout their business.
Tony Barritt
Lead Consultant
After 15-years at Video Arts as Marketing and Business Development Director, I decided I needed a new challenge and started my own sales and marketing consultancy. This lead to a four year contract with Business Link. After leaving Business Link I was delighted to join IIC to put my consultancy experience to good use working with clients to analyse the results of their assessments and to help them implement the appropriate business improvements. Outside work I am married with two teenage daughters and I spend most of my spare time playing or watching sport. I am a cricket coach, long suffering supporter of West Ham and a keen golfer with a handicap based on my inability to find enough time to play as much as I would like to!

The assessment process is simple and I'm here to help you - starting from the implementation right through the survey stage.
Stacey Callun
Project Manager
I am the main contact for the assessment process and I get to see the feedback as it comes in, day by day. It’s great when you see a client and can tell straight away why their customers think they are brilliant. Equally, it’s also rewarding when you see a clear pattern in dissatisfaction because we can then work with this business to improve performance, and the following year their results will reflect their efforts. Out of the office I am an occasionally proud member of the ‘e for idiots’ pub quiz team, I enjoy cooking, especially baking (although this doesn’t mean I am good at it!), and am hopelessly addicted to my Kindle.

Our clients recognise that their customers are individual and strive to get to know each one better.
Sharon Clapp
Marketing Support Manager
Having spent over 25 years in the Travel Industry, I decided it was time for a career change (call it a midlife crisis!). Having always been focused on the importance of customer service side of the industry, I turned my attention to marketing and have now been part of the happy team at IIC since January 2011. My role is to engage new customers, and I get a great deal of pleasure when that comes to fruition. Away from the office, I am Mum to 2 grown up girls. My youngest daughter is very much into athletics so a lot of my spare time is taken up with competitions where I am usually the embarrassing mum screaming from the stands!

The key to success is not only having a great business idea or product but access to sound advice from outstanding mentors and role models.
Danny Pickering
Regional Manager
In the mid 1980s I formed a copper wire manufacturing company which sold to French telecommunications giant Alcatel in 1989. Since then I have developed a highly successful career advising and mentoring and sharing the knowledge and contacts made through my private consultancy business. I have also held numerous of Non Executive Directorship of both SME and PLC Businesses in a wide variety of industry and service sector businesses throughout the UK. I am delighted to be working with IIC, put simply IIC is by far the best measure of excellence in the field of customer service I have ever seen. I have one grown up son and I am married to Anita who is a Master of Nuero Linguistic Psychology and often knows what I am thinking so that tends to keep me grounded!”

Companies reassess again and again - it's not just a one off process.
Rebekah Craig
Company Secretary
I began my working career in banking and quickly moved into accountancy (both laugh a minute). I did have a hiatus when I worked as a PA to a peer of the realm and organised a charity event when running his office. Among the great and good were Ian Botham and David Gower, both long time heroes of mine. I adore watching cricket and rugby. The event raised over £750,000 for cancer charities. The other hiatus was spent bringing up three children, now fully grown and vaguely independent. I’ve been involved with Investor in Customers since 10th May 2006 when we established the company. There has been so much change since then, moving from the typical kitchen table operation to a business with offices in London and Devon. I’m the Company Secretary and I look after the day to day running of the finances.

The IIC proposition is compelling and in my view every business large or small would benefit from an IIC assessment.
